The town’s set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Narrative
Unravel the mystery of a town in the central United States that traps all who enter. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, fire station, school, church, convenience store, etc.
When Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished in 2004) to support workers at a nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. The paved streets and sidewalks were all that remained, and the fake town was built on top of them. A rope is thrown to him by (presumably) Martin in the room above, despite the fact that his wrists are chained.
are definitely really cool
Featured in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch-Up Part 1 (TV Shows) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Hosted by The Pixies. I’ve loved this show so far and the acting and mysteries etc.
While “Lost” was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, directing etc
However, I’m starting to get a little worried that this is going too much for the “Lost” vibe. In the end, what bothered me was how much of the mystery was just there for the sake of being mysterious. Watching season 2, I would get a little annoyed whenever another weird mystery was introduced, be it a symbol, object, thing, event…
This is just one of those there’s-a-mysterious-mist-creature-or-hatch-or-light-etc Which is
mostly because I can’t stop thinking “Will this be relevant in any way in the long run ? never mentioned again or explained in any way, ever Because that kind of mystery writing eventually ends up annoying me, since the writer can reach over his ass and pull out absolutely anything and never come back to it Okay, next there’s a llama with. a red hat who whispers the words “paleontological” and “spatula and that’s it, forgotten a!” season later, with no explanation, it was just there to be weird I’ll still keep watching, but if this ever has an ending where it’s just on the level of “it was all in his head and there’s no attempt to!” tie some thematic logic to it all, then consider this review at least 2-3 points less…
